It’s the beginning of a new month and that can only mean one thing! Desktop wallpaper time! Continuing with the pattern of storybook authors. This month I celebrate the birthday of one extraordinary and beyond creative author.

Who could this be? Here are some interesting clues about this mystery author. First clue, this author wrote and illustrated 44 children’s books and his most famous character is a talking cat who loves to have fun. Seems familiar? Not yet, okay here’s the second clue. Born in 1904 with the real name of Theodor, he was known for his inventive characters and whimsical worlds in his work. This could only mean one person, right? Still not a clue, take a look at the image above. Yes! It’s Dr. Seuss’s Birthday this month! And you know what makes his birthday so special this year? It lands on the same day as world book day. More the reason to get some Dr. Seuss books out and start reading.

Fan of Dr. Seuss or not, you will love this inspirational desktop wallpaper for March 2017! I have also included a very important quote by Dr. Seuss on learning: It is better to know how to learn, than to know. Why this particular quote and no other? Because I am passionate about learning. It is easy to just remember the facts, but to actually learn the reasoning behind the facts is an impressive skill! By actively learning new skills and knowledge gives you the power to learn anything you want. You can be an artist, writer or a baker! Don’t let your lack of knowledge stop you from achieving your dreams. Remember just as Dr. Seuss believed, knowledge can take you anywhere. So make the effort and try learning something new every day! Whether it be drawing, singing or cooking. Go and get your dream job!

Let’s wish Dr. Seuss a happy birthday and may everyone be inspired by his work!
